Happy Birthday Brooke!!!

Brooke turned 5 today! I can't believe how fast the time has gone. It was 5 years ago I was laying in my bed on a Sunday morning and my water broke. I thought Ty hit me in the stomach at first so he got my wrath. I then realized what had happened...I took my time getting ready, showered, and headed to the hospital. I was at an 8 when I got there. Brooke was born shortly after. Brooke tried to come early and I spent a week at LDS hospital in SLC and another couple weeks on bedrest. In the heat of the summer. In my parents unairconditioned apt. All by myself. All day long. Boring! I have not had a boring day however since Brooke was born. The picture above is from Brooke's 4th B-day.

Brooke has been a joy to have around and watch grown and learn. She is a very strong-willed child to say the least. She learns very quickly and thinks things through. The picture above is her 3rd b-day. Looking back, I can't believe she was only 3. She could write her name and most of the alphabet by the time she was 3.

On Brooke's first birthday, she got to demolish her cake. She reached out and grabbed the candle while it was lit before we could stop her. But hey, that's one way to put the candle out! We love Brooke so much and love having her in our family. She has the funniest little personality and always has us laughing. We can't wait to watch her grown and learn. We love you Brooke!!!
