OOPS! We did it again!

St. George Marathon pick us! (It's a lottery)

So we did it again. We signed up for the St George Marathon. Care Bear, Maika and I are waiting to see if we are accepted into St. George in October. The difference between this marathon and SLC is St George drops 2100 more feet in elevation. You gotta love downhill! Notice my face in the pic above. That is what mile 25 looks like. This picture was taken at my first marathon the TOU. Carrie met me at mile 14 and ran with me to the finish. It was great to have her support. She tried to keep me on the right pace and keep my mind off the pain...One of the games she tried to make me play was "I am thankful for." She said she was thankful for legs so she could run (I was so not thankful for legs at this point). She said a few more things she was thankful for and then she said it was my turn. Silence. I couldn't think of anything! I love marathons. Really.

Seriously, iron woman of the year. I can't believe there are so many of you out there that there has to be a lottery. I can be 100% certain that never in my life, or on my blog, for that matter, will there ever be the words "mile 25". You're awesome!

Wow - now I really feel lazy!

Of course you can add us to your list that is ever so much longer than ours!!! Maybe that way you will know that I am not a snob, just have social anxiety in large groups and keep to myself. Okay, so maybe I am a snob with social anxiety :)

BTW, that trailer is too cool. I was wondering where everyone disappeared to on Sunday! LOL!
