Jace turned 1 yesterday. We had a great birthday party for him and he really enjoyed himself! He has been such a blessing in our lives. He is the sweetest most mild-mannered little guy. He is always smiling and happy. He loves people...Especially Grandpas. We have had so much fun with him.
We had a barbeque with all the Grandma and Grandpas. Jace loved the attention! He got hooked up with lots of cool gifts. Thanks everyone!!!
We let the kids have their "own" cake on their first birthday. Jace worked his over for an hour. He had the time of his life. He was digging with his utensils, hands and feet. He tried to feed us when we got close enough. It was so fun to watch. The clean-up wasn't quite as fun but I would do it again for the entertainment value. I totally recommend it. Does that count as dinner?

My kids get their own cake on their 1st b-day also and it never gets old to watch. He is so cute. My how fast your kids have grown. I guess we have been gone longer than it feels like. We miss you and hopefully we will make a trip up soon. Glad you found my blog I found your through Amy's too. It will be fun to keep in touch!
