So I did it. I qualified for the Boston Marathon at all costs. I crossed the line and ended up in the medic tent with hyperthermia. I got a shot and icebags all over my body. I thought I was going to die! I ran a 3:39. I had a whole minute and a half to spare! The straight into the gateway was the longest run of my life!
Maika and I after the race.

Medic tent 30 minutes later. I swore I would never run another marathon at this point. Anyone up for St George in October???

Whoa! You are so great. I actually was watching for you that day because my sister-in-law was doing the half marathon...we must have left a bit before you finished. I did see your time in the the Salt Lake Tribune on Sunday though. Congratulations on that great accomplishment.
