We recently took a road trip to Arizona to visit Ty's mission and Sis Mindi and her family. It may sound horrible to spend 50+ hours in the car with a 5,3, and 2 year old, but we had an absolute blast. It was one of the best trips I have ever been on. We spent the first night in St. George, then we hit Zions the next day. We headed to Flagstaff next for 2 nights and visited the Grand Canyon. After that, we were off to Prescott for a night, then on to Gilbert, where Mindi lives. Our last stop was Las Vegas for 2 nights. I tried to get the pictures to appear in order, but here they are in "random order". This is Ty stealing grapefruits from the temple tree.
We spent one day at a little indoor amusement park, where Ty got sick on the teacups and Brooke attempted the climbing wall. It was so hot in AZ that everything we did was inside. We spent one day at a waterpark and it was even hot in the water!
This was a really common scene as we switched hotels so many times.
The M&M was a favorite especially for Jace. His favorite treat is M&M's. Each night, the kids started with 10 points. If they were quiet and went right to sleep they got a dollar and a treat the next day (needed 10 points for both). 5 points=a treat. It worked great!

Good bribery idea. I think I'll have to implement that one some day. Looks like a great trip for you guys! By the way, you still amaze me. Great job on the iron man. What an accomplishment.
