Brooke turned 6 on August 3rd! My how time flys. She started the day with a Birthday party at the Sports Academy. That's the way to party. They do everything! We chose to do a gymnastics party where we got the whole gym to ourselves including all the trampolines, the blow-up toys and the zip-line which was a favorite. Then we had cake and ice cream, and presents. Last, the workers took the girls on a treasure hunt through the whole SARC where they played games and searched for clues to the hidden treasure chest full of goodies and toys!
After the party, Mom and Dad took Brooke on a special "date night" where she chose to eat at the Olive Garden. After dinner we went to find a church dress and she insisted on this long white dress (which happened to be 70% off and a size 12). We decided to give in to her urge for dress up clothes. It got better when she insisted she wear it to the movie theater afterwards. It was so funny. She floated around all night!
The next night, we had Grandma and Grandpa Burton and Perkins over for a barbeque and another party. We had so much awesome food thanks to my good cook mom and awesome cinnamon roll making grandma's help.
5 days later the partying continued with Grandma and Grandpa Gibbons, Aunt Dan-Dan and Uncle Adam. We had Sunday dinner and a yummy strawberry cream cake to celebrate both Brooke and Kylie's Birthdays. I'm so thankful for my awesome supportive family!
